Scoring eases the task of folding thicker papers without affecting the quality of the finished product.

Scoring is produced by gently mechanically impressing a seam into the grain of the paper. Without it, folds will lack in appeal, appearing to either be uneven, or produce unslightly mini-tears and mini-bulges along the path of the paper grain where folded.

An Ultra-Violet Coating(UV) is a plastic-like transparent coating applied to the surface of the paper. It is applied to the paper and Ink after the object has been printed.

Aside from the quality glossy sheen, UV is durable, water and stain-resistant. It also keeps the printed piece from fading.

Special Note: Due to the surface protection qualities of using UV Coating, it is not advisable to apply it to the sides of surfaces where writing, or further bindery steps such as gluing would occur.

Preferred file is illustrator. All Images or text in SILVER or GOLD must be in SPOT color not CMYK. Any embedded or linked photoshop file must be in CMYK format.

Files provided in photoshop must be saved in PSD format with two layers. All images or text in SILVER or GOLD must be in one layer. All images in CMYK color must be in one layer.
